Sharpen the justice of your mind,
With the Zulfiqar of Ali,
Polish the rust of your heart,
With the mercy of the Prophet,
And fragrance your soul
With the love of Fatima-Zahrah.

One of the best parts about Iran/Iraq was that everyone there was always striving for one thing.
To be a better Muslim. To gain proximity to Allah through his incredible 14. To fall in love with religion.
It made life so beautiful. It gave life purpose.
There I was surrounded by family.
One of the worst parts about being back home is not having everyone strive for the same thing.
Here I am alone.
Today at our Masjid a few of us girls from our ziarat trip went to listen to Dua Kumayl.
Listening to it was the hardest thing.
Looking up and not seeing Masjid Jamkaran or Imam Rezas Roza or Imam Hussains Roza was terrifying.
Terrifying because that forced me to accept the fact that we left our Imam. We left Iran. We left Iraq.
We left our second home,
to come back to our first.
Which no longer feels like home….
Dua Kumayl at our masjid tonight had no comparison to Dua Kumayl at Masjid Jamkaran in Qom Iran. Ya Mahdi.
Don’t lose hope,
Allah has fulfilled
He might not
give you what
you ask for,
what you need
and what is better.
Don’t lose hope,
Allah is Al-Mujib,
The Responder to prayer.
Waiting on my next invitation Ya Abul Fadhl Abbas (as)
Muhammad Al-Mustafa once said,
"Ali is with the Truth and the Truth is with Ali”
So do not associate Ali Al-Murtadha
With those who betrayed Muhammad Al-Mustafa,
and attacked Fatima-Zehra.
Does the Qur’an not say,
"And do not mix the truth with falsehood
or conceal the truth while you know(2:42)."
"Zehra" means flower in Arabic,
and indeed Fatima-Zehra is a flower from Paradise.
Did the Prophet not say,
"Whenever I miss the smell of paradise,
I smell Fatima.”
How greatly did Allah honor the family of Muhammad.
His cousin was born in the House of the Black Stone,
While his grandson was martyred on the stones of Karbala.
